Deer Trail Resort's Lakeside Cabin 5 is a cozy, fully equipped retreat nestled on the shores of Lake Delta in Northwest Wisconsin's Chequamegon National Forest. Guests can enjoy a sandy swimming beach, fishing, kayaks, canoes, and over 40 acres of wooded walking trails, as well as direct access to hiking, biking, ATV, and snowmobile trails. Perfect for all seasons, the cabin is conveniently located near local attractions like the famous Delta Diner and offers easy access to cross-country skiing trails
Description
Deer Trail Resort's Lakeside Cabin 5 offers everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It features a fully equipped kitchen with dishes, cooking utensils, a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, stove, and refrigerator. The cabin has two cozy bedrooms with all bedding provided, as well as a full bathroom with a tub and shower (please remember to bring your own towels for the bath, kitchen, and beach). During the winter months, a forced-air furnace keeps the space warm and inviting.
Step through the patio door to a deck that boasts a large picnic table and your own outdoor grill—perfect for enjoying meals while taking in stunning views of Lake Delta. The cabin is conveniently located just 3.5 hours from St. Paul, 1 hour east of Duluth, 35-40 minutes north of Hayward, and 30-35 minutes south of Bayfield. A local gem, the famous Delta Diner, is just a short drive away!
This serene cabin, nestled in a welcoming resort setting, is an ideal four-season family getaway. Guests staying at Deer Trail Resort can enjoy direct access to the Iron River snowmobile and ATV trails. Situated within Northwest Wisconsin’s Chequamegon National Forest, the resort graces the shores of the picturesque 167-acre Lake Delta.
Lake Delta offers a sandy swimming beach, excellent fishing opportunities, and a 14’ rowboat waiting at the dock. Kayaks and canoes are also available for use at the beach area. Explore over 40 wooded acres with walking trails, or take advantage of direct access to nearby hiking, biking, ATV, and snowmobile trails. Cross-country skiing enthusiasts will love the trails located just one mile away in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest.

Towels and Heavy Blankets are not provided, please bring bath, swimming and kitchen towels.
There is a light blanket on the bed with fresh linens and pillows. If you prefer a heavier blanket, please bring one along with you.
